So this shouldn’t come as a surprise to you, but China is big. After living here for almost 4 years, I still can’t get used to how many people live here. There are so many people in China! 1.3 billion, to be exact, ¼ of the world’s population! And though you may think that all the people in China look the same, they are actually beautifully different! There are 56 different minority groups in China, most of which I can’t pronounce and I know very little about. We have a creative, big, artistic God. China is really good at reminding me of how small my heart is. There are just too many people in China, too many for me to love. But China also reminds me about how big God’s heart is. He made these people, he knows them, and he loves them. If God really loves all the people in China, then His love is bigger and more amazing than I can even imagine. And that’s the kind of God I want.
