Major components of the China Partners one-year internship:

Work with Chinese students

• Teach English to college students (we will arrange for your employment as an English teacher and help train you in basic skills), which will provide you with a work visa and give you great opportunity to build relationships
• Lead a student bible study for seekers or young believers as part of China Partners’ normal ministry function

Team ministry

• Live on campus with your China Partners teammates
• Work with your teammates to foster student movements on campus that are supported by the local church
• Participate in regular team meetings for social, spiritual and emotional support

Intern training events (approximately one weekend a month) providing:

• Cross-cultural skills and long-term strategies for cultural adjustment
• Spiritual formation
• Scripture study tools
• Tools for self-understanding and team dynamics
• Development of ministry skills
